While speaking to The Ringer's Cameron Hawkins in a recent interview, Gunther discussed his transition to the WWE main roster and how he never thought he would fit in.

"I never saw myself being on the main roster," Gunther explained. "I always felt like I'm not going to fit in there."

Gunther's wrestling style is known for its hard-hitting and physical nature, which could be seen as a departure from the more athletic and high-flying styles that are often seen on the main roster.

"My style is a little bit different," Gunther said. "I'm not a high-flyer. I'm not a cruiserweight. I'm a big guy. I like to hit people hard."

Despite his doubts, Gunther has found success on the main roster, winning the Intercontinental Championship twice.

"I'm still learning," Gunther said. "I'm still trying to figure out my place on the main roster. But I'm enjoying it so far."
